In Norse mythology, Eldhrimnir is the cauldron of Valhalla where Andhrimnir cooks the immortal boar Saehrimnir each night. After a long day of battle, the fallen Einherjar are resurrected, and the Aesir and their warriors feast on the meat of the boar, served by the Valkyries. The next day, Saehrimnir is reborn to be eaten again the next evening.
