Gorm-Glas

Gorm-Glas ("Blue-Green") is the sword of Conchobar mac Nessa. He is one of the main characters in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. In The Cattle Raid of Cooley, Conchobar mac Nessa sought out Fergus mac Roich on the battlefield. Conchobar used his gold bordered shield Ochain to deflect some of the blows from Fergus' sword Caladbolg, but finally found himself at his mercy. Cormac Cond Longas pleaded with his master Fergus not to kill his biological father Conchobar, and Fergus instead swung high, slicing off the tops of three hills.
