Balswenden (also known as Palswende)

In the 12th century French epic the Song of Roland, Balswenden was the sword owned by Targis von Tortose the Saracen. He swore before Marsile that he would cross blades with Roland's Durendal, but at the battle of Roncevaux he was killed by Anseis before he got the chance.
