Mjollnir (also known as Mjolnir)

In Norse mythology, Mjollnir is the legendary hammer of Thor. It was forged by the dwarves Brokk and Eitri (Sindri) as part of a contest with the dwarven Sons of Ivaldi. Brokk and Eitri were declared winners of the contest in a large part due to the hammer. The name Mjollnir means "mealer" referring to the mealing of grain. While Thor is reknowned for his battle prowess, he is also a god of agriculture.

The hammer is believed to be so powerful as to kill giants and destroy mountains with a single blow. It would never miss its mark, and could be thrown with unerring accuracy and then return to Thor's hand without assistance. It is so massive that only Odin, Thor, and his sons can wield it.
