Kite Shield
Time Period: 11th-13th century
Location: Europe
Common Construction: Wood and Leather

The kite shield is a medieval shield with a unique teardrop shape used until the beginning of the 13th century. The shield was made of wood and covered in leather, with a slightly convex curve. Over time, the rounded top of the shield flattened out, and the elongated lower half of the shield shortened until the shield eventually developed into the triangular heater design in the 13th century.

! This is another issue the gonnremevt failed it’s citizens on, and thus made life harder for everyone. St. Lucian passports were too easily attainable to non St. Lucian citizens.
