Estoc (Also known as the Tuck)

The estoc is a sword with a triangular or square cross section designed to defeat chain mail and plate armor. The blade is extremely strong and stiff, and has no cutting edge. Most estocs were two handed weapons and were reasonably effective at punching through the rings of chain mail and plate joints. Estoc is the French term, in England the same sword is known as a tuck.
